Youth Group Activity
Sunday April 28th - A Visit from the Seeing Eye!
The Youth Group has organized a special morning for both adults and children to witness the work of this amazing organization.  A small introduction will be held during the Children's Message portion of the regular Sunday service.  Then our children will have a personal experience with our visitors during church school.  All of the congregation will then have the opportunity to meet the service dog and his or her 'person' during Fellowship time.
Come and see the organization that you and the Youth Group have been supporting this year!
The First Congregational Church Youth Group includes grades 5 and up as well as any friends that are interested in our activities.
We :

     * Host fun activities at the church
     * Attend some awesome events
     * Get involved in special projects
     *  And....have lots of fun.

We will meet as often as it is convenient for the group.
The Youth Group has  chosen the Seeing Eye organization as its 2018~2019 charity focus.

Beginning Sunday, January 13th,  the Group has been sponsoring a
Used-Book Fundraiser table at Fellowship Time:
Make a Donation/Take a Book
(and gently used children or adult book donations would also be appreciated)
As of mid-February, this effort had raised almost $200!

The group raised $277 for Seeing Eye by doing a Tricky Tray at the October 19th Fish n Chips dinner
Youth Group Past Activity
October 23  Hike – The hike suggested  by the Youth Group was led by Betty Hogan and Pastor Dennis (both avid hikers) and was held at the southern end of Norvin Green State Forest
Beautiful day for a hike, beautiful place, great group!
Opportunities for Service

Ushers –Anyone interested in forming and serving on a Youth Group Ushering Team? The Team would usher about once every 2 months.  This is a necessary service to the church and your help would be much appreciated
