The child lives in the southeastern part of India.  See the map below.  


We received a Christmas-time drawing, at left.  In the past, we had a thank-you letter from the child, which reads (in small part)  


"Dear Aunty and uncle, 


How are you? I am fine by the grace of Lord Jesus....In June, I got promoted from the 5th to the 6th Std*.... We celebrated the Indepen(dence) day on 15th August.  In our school, ...they kept Bible quiz  competition and drawing competition.  I got third place....


I thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.  Yours lovingly, " 
*The school systems in India is divided into:
Primary school: First to fifth standard/class/ grade (for six- to ten-year-olds) and then 
Middle school/Upper Primary school: Sixth to eighth standard/class/grade (for 11- to 14-year-olds)
So our young student was promoted from Primary School to Middle School.
