Bible Study and Prayer Group
Bi-Weekly on Wednesday evenings, 6:30 pm
An informal outdoor study/prayer group meets bi-weekly on Wednesday evenings, in the church parking lot.  The study deals with various topics of our Christian faith, and is led by Education Team leader Beth Shuler, supported by Pastor Dennis.  

Our next gatherings will be Wednesday Sept. 16th 

The study for this session is “Gratitude as a Spiritual Discipline.”  Prayers of thankfulness help us notice God's abundant gifts.  Thankfulness is a wonderful companion to other forms of prayer, and it brings balance to our prayers.  In thanking God, we grow closer in intimacy with God.
We practice social distancing and wear face coverings.  Please bring your own chair.  We gather in the parking lot, near Borough Hall; in the event of rain, we will  meet in Pilgrim Hall. 
July 29th group
  The first two sessions, 7/15 and 7/29, hit close to home: “Where is God When Disaster Strikes?”  We explored biblical teaching to look for new ways of seeing God in the midst of disasters, especially the Covid 19 Pandemic, and talked about spiritual practices that help us prepare and respond when we are in difficult situations.  

             We look forward to seeing you in person as we come together to support one another and learn more about living our Christian faith.
